Swim Leinster held their second graded gala of the season on Sunday 15 January 2017 in the National Aquatic Centre in Blanchardstown.

A total of eleven swimmers across three squads from Breifne Swim Club attended this gala.

Competition Squad swimmers included Milly Owen, Emily Sheridan, Beth Grant, Maia Smith, Blathnaid O’Reilly, Abby McDowell and Louis Maguire.

Development Squad swimmers were Ella Maguire, Sean Hourihane and Conor Hourihane.  Jamie McDowell also attended from the Leisure and Fitness Squad.

These swimmers swam in seventeen different events and gained a total of twenty one personal best times out of a possible forty three.

Swim Ulster are holding their second Qualifying Gala of the season over the weekend of 25, 26 and 27 February 2017 in the Aurora Aquatic and Leisure Complex in Bangor.

Please be aware that this is a Long Course (50M pool) gala.

Templemore Swimming Club are holding a Minor Open Meet on Sunday 19 February 2017 at the Lagan Valley Leisureplex in Lisburn. 

This gala is for age 13 and under.  The morning session is for the 10 and under competing in 25M events, while the afternoon session will have 50M and 100M events.

The NAC swim club are holding their annual Charity Gala and Mini Minnows Gala on Sunday 19 February 2017 in the National Aquatic Centre in Blanchardstown, Dublin.

The Charity Gala will run all day with morning and afternoon sessions.  This gala is an age group gala and is open to all ages.  Full meet information can be found here.

The Mini Minnows gala takes place in the afternoon, in the 5 lane pool and if for novice swimmers only.  All mini minnows events are 25M.  There are no diving blocks and no electronic timing.  Meet information for this gala can be found here.
